Weight Loss

Weight loss, in the context of medicine, health or physical fitness, is a reduction of the total body mass, due to a mean loss of fluid, body fat or adipose tissue and/or lean mass, namely bone mineral deposits, muscle, tendon and other connective tissue.

There are many ways to help with weight loss including, eating a healthy diet, exercise or looking at imbalances in the body.

If you eat too much your body will put on weight (as long as your body is hormonally balanced) If you don’t eat enough your body will lose weight. There are many practitioners out there that help clients with weight loss.

A nutritionist will help with the intake of foods, giving you a balanced approach to weight loss.

A Personal Trainer will help you to exercise by building muscle mass to achieve weight loss goals.

The important thing is to remember to do everything in balance to make sure you loose weight the healthy way.

If you are eating well and exercising and still finding it a challenge to lose weight you may need to go to a naturopath to look at your hormones.

Or maybe it could be something to do with the way you think. ie you could think ‘i will always be fat’ or ‘my family are all fat so i will be the same’.

If you think like this you may need to see a hypnotherapist or someone who works with the subconscious mind to change your thinking.
