This weekend I went away for the long weekend and I took my own advice (I do that sometimes). The picture above is where I went and it was SOOOO relaxing. I thought I would do some personal development on myself this weekend and write some positive affirmations for self esteem.
Many of us spend our time giving to others and don’t give back to ourselves. Sometimes to get your head straight you have to take yourself out of a situation in order to see your life from a new perspective.
When you do this you get to see your life from a different angle, you get to see more clearly what is working and what needs to change.
Now I am lucky enough to live in beautiful Australia and this AMAZING place was only a car ride away.
If you don’t live somewhere as beautiful and warm as this, take yourself to a park, or mountain, or forest, or another room in your house that is quiet, somewhere you can get some quiet time and gain some clarity on your life.
Nature is a great place to reconnect and get back in touch with yourself. Find yourself a quiet place and take out your journal.
It feels so good when you write some positive affirmations for self esteem. Take a look at you and pick out the qualities you like about yourself. Even if those things are small, you can write about them.
Positive Affirmations for Self Esteem are So Important If You Want to Start Being More Confident In Life…..
I know there are many people out there who feel like they do not love themselves at all, and focus on the negative things about themselves constantly.
The secret is to start small and focus on a couple of things you DO like.
For example; You can start with thinks like, “I have great fingernails, getting my manicures means I love myself”, “I love the size of my feet, I can fit into my favourite shoes and that makes me feel good”.
Keep practising these affirmations daily and you will start feeling better about yourself. The more you feel better about yourself, the more positive qualities you will see in yourself.
Start thinking about positive affirmations you can use for yourself to increase your self esteem. Positive affirmations are as important to your health and wellbeing, as much as drinking water is good to keep you hydrated. When you start thinking more positively, you will attract more positive things to you.
