We all experience muscle soreness from time to time. Delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS) is the pain and stiffness felt in muscles several hours to days after unaccustomed or strenuous exercise. The soreness is felt most strongly 24 to 72 hours after the exercise.
The other is acute muscle soreness, which appears during and immediately after exercise. This is a normal and natural response to exercise. There are many reasons why you might be feeling sore muscles including stress and posture. Learn more about holistic ways of dealing with muscle soreness in our Healing Portal.
