Yoga/Pilates/Yoga Fusion Instructor from Body & Balance
I have trained and worked for more than 30 years in fitness and wellness for the body and the mind. I am highly trained and experienced having come from a dance and teaching background. I trained in dance as a young girl and when completing high school I trained as a teacher specialising in teaching children with learning difficulties. I have also studied acting and run a drama school at the same time as moving into fitness.
Dancing, teaching and acting training all play integral parts in the skilled and knowledgeable way I’m able to work with all ages and fitness levels and provide a thorough program in order to bring out the best in everyone.
My classes are taught with my client’s health and wellness always in mind and with this I bring these skills as well as a sense of fun to all my classes. My clients always leave a class feeling energised as well as calm and relaxed after a Body and Balance total balanced workout.
My classes include Pilates, Yoga, YogaPilates Fusion, Cardio Dance Fusion, ZUMBA and GROOVE Fusion and are geared for small or large groups, schools, one on one and corporate.
Having also trained as a Remedial Massage Therapist I have a solid understanding of Anatomy and Physiology and I hold degrees and diplomas in a number of linked fitness and wellness fields.
Australian Fitness Network and Fitness Australia have awarded me for my long-time achievements and contribution to the Fitness Industry.
I have registered my YogaPilates Fusion name and I’m running training programs for other Fitness and Wellness Professionals in courses such as Yoga for Pilates Instructors and Pilates for Yoga Instructors.
I have had a lifelong passion for fitness and wellness believing that most issues in life can be aided or even avoided by living a fit and healthy life. I bring to each program an enormous amount of knowledge and experience.
Jill also offers Small Group Meditation and Pilates equipment classes and private sessions.
